So glad I found this! It works great on my XS Max with iOS 14. There are no ads, no IAP, just a fair premium price for a great game with several different modes. Endless is my go-to when I have spare time. So many match games are childish-looking. This one is classy, and a clever take on the genre. You have to think, and of course there’s luck involved, but I don’t find it frustrating at all, just challenging. Thank you developers for a great game and for monetizing it fairly!

Of all the games I’ve had over the years this is one that has never got boring. Sure, I might not play it for a month or two, but then I open it back up and get hooked for another six months straight.

Set-ups that make completion nearly impossible. Some of the puzzles were so lopsided I failed the puzzle 5 times before i destroyed 7 of the squares i was supposed to destroy—and i was supposed to destroy 40! Get the picture.

I have been entertained for hours with this app. Like Quell, it gets more challenging as you go on but there are ‘easy’ puzzles at first. Highly recommend! PLEASE pretty please come out with a second version. I have restarted numerous times (other than the challenges)

Love this game... wish there were more levels regularly added.

Fun & logical game. The more you play, the more you want to play!!

In the endless version, I would like the bonus cards to continue to add up instead of only when you use one. Also, would like to see multipliers when you make a match which causes a second wave of matches, & a third, & so on.

This game is awesome! It's like chess - you have to plan three to five steps ahead. Some people complain about randomness and luck, but I see the challenge it presents, and it's been awesome! Thanks!

This is actually a relaxing game but I hate that the game takes you back to the beginning of the game when you have to stop playing. Usually games remember what level you have achieved and you resume play.

One of my favorite games by far. I played this game endlessly and beat all the levels in like two weeks. Now I've been playing the "Endless" level nonstop trying to work my way up the leader board. Crossing my fingers that more levels come out.

This game drew me in and I keep going back to it. Each level is a little trickier to keep it interesting! The new update has a glitch where skulls explode, even though I've used the power up to extend them- not as frequently as in the previous version, but it still happens. Please fix this.

Great game, the more you play the sharper you get!

There's a new glitch that erases your power-ups when resuming gauntlet mode. This makes strategic power-up use nearly impossible. Five stars if this issue is resolved. Also, endless mode seems a bit pointless.

I got to level Z3 and it doesn't seem to go past that because I have played it at least 3 dozen times and no matter what combination I do I always loose. Its fixed because they probably haven't designed passed that.

I really enjoy this game, especially after the latest update with new levels. One can earn 3 power-ups. Very helpful as the levels get harder and harder. Got to W level ( A to Z) and the 3 power ups disappeared! There's no indication that this is supposed to happen. What gives??

I rarely write reviews, but this is a highly addictive and entertaining game. I played off and on for sometime and beat every level!! It was exhilarating. The frustration with some of the harder levels accompanied by the thrill of finally beating it was great!!

I love this game. It's incredibly addictive and really fun to play. It's also an incredible battery hog that can wear my battery down faster than anything I've ever seen. I hope further versions are more battery efficient.

Starts okay and the challenges are interesting but the hard levels require too much luck and are frustrating and not very rewarding.

This game is fun but it appears to be the largest consumer of battery life of any app on my phone. Even when it is running in the background, it appears to slow down iOS until it is forced closed.

I rarely write reviews, but this one is worth reviewing. An incredibly well designed game with multiple game modes that I've been playing constantly for several days now. Two small pieces of feedback: 1. I like the music but the game could do with more tracks as it can get a little repetitive. 2. The sound effects are a little loud. Small issues with an otherwise great game.

This game quickly turns into a luck based game rather than a skill based game, and the odds are NOT in your favor (less than 5% win ratio). Most board deals literally are not solvable. Frustrating and irritating, rather than challenging. Sad-because the Quell games are my hands down favorite puzzle games to date. A no move counting option update is the only thing that would make me want to try playing again.

Loved this game, but now it is completely frozen. I can't delete either. I have tried contacting app support for Fallen Tree Games, and it says page not found. Kind of fishy. Wish I had never downloaded.

This was fun to play but it really kills my battery (5s) so I've deleted it.

This game can be fun at the start of the first few levels, but get towards the middle, and it really shows a lot of flaws in terms of gameplay. The objectives become more luck based to try and win, cards do not fill up as fast as you’d think, and no one…NO ONE…likes ANY sort of timer in a puzzle game. Coupled with a difficulty spike more generated from randomness than a natural curve, and I’m beginning to lose interest.

Unable to use app. Completely crashed. Unable to delete and reinstall. Please fix.

Fun, challenging and addictive! But, my iPad gets really hot after a short amount of playing time. I'm only rating this 3 stars because of this issue.

This was my favorite game on my phone and I almost beat it until it stopped working. The app won't open at all, and it won't even let me delete it off my phone. When I go into the App Store, there are no new updates for it and when I hit "open", it doesn't do anything. Please fix!

Wow!! Tons of creative puzzles!!

I love this game! There are soooo many things to love. For example that you don't have to wait 30 minutes to refill one life (seriously?!? How stupid is that? Waiting just makes me get into another game and f get about the first one completely! Such a dumb idea! But NOT with this one!) But... I am not a big fan of the challenges, actually I don't like them at all! Which leaves me with just a few levels. Around 30ish on normal level and 17ish in hard! It gets quite boring replaying the same levels after a while :(

Fun and challenging to play

I'm really enjoying this game and don't usually like these "swap" games that just require you to swap tiles and get three in a row. This game has a lot of creative twists on it so is fun!

This app did bot fully download. I can't delete it nor can I open it. It also constantly leaves my folder looking like something is loading in it. Truly deeply ANNOYING!!!!

Had to skip nearly every level because matches are not possible in the time before everything blows up. Exceedingly frustrating.

I gave this a try and got hooked. Love the challenge, the music, the subtle sense of humor and the no-stress. I'm sad that I'm almost done with all the levels and challenges. Make more awesome games!

An alternative set of more vivid colors or textures is necessary for someone like me.

I usually have no interest in iPhone games. I love this one, the ascetics, the challenge, the music. Pretty enjoyable!

Please have color blind mode.

Love the concept but you get to a certain point and it gets impossible to complete levels. I'm not looking to be #1 in the world, just want to move through... I love a challenge but this is too much.

Game is too difficult! No undo button, too fast! Created anxiety rather than pleasure.

This game and I have a strong love-hate vibe going!! It's totally addictive and so challenging, I can't stop playing! It does draw a lot if battery power and can make you a little cross eyed if you play too long. Great background music. Thanks for the experience!!

Challenging, fun, and a great way to kill some time. That said, the pastel colors make gameplay very difficult if, like me, you're colorblind.

And I should say, highly addictive. I got this game free via my Starbucks app, but I would happily pay for this game…..at first glance it looks quite simple, but after the first few ‘tutorial’ rounds it gets challenging. The instructions give you enough to go on to learn how to play, but I’d like to see somewhere I can learn more - for example, by matching (enough) tiles you earn extra tools you can use to swap tiles you wouldn’t ordinarily be able to swap, or delay the bomb timers, or clear the board if you get into deep trouble, but there’s no indication of exactly how many tiles you have to match to earn those - they just seem to pop in now and then. So "yay!” I love seeing them, but I have no clue how I earned them. Some reviewers have given this a low number of stars because they found it too challenging - one even claims it’s ‘impossible’ to clear some levels. I don’t find that to be true - yes it’s challenging and makes you think, but you can retry each level as many times as you like until you figure out how to clear it…..and I’m on the third screen of levels (beyond the ‘hard’ levels and into the one the game developer calls ‘challenges’) and haven’t found one yet that I haven’t been able to clear, albeit some with a lot of retries! What’s really great is that there is a lot of variety in each of the levels…..so yes it’s a tile-matching game, but it never gets boring. Also, the music is quite nice but I’m glad to see the option to turn it off without having to turn off the phone’s ringer switch, that’s a thoughtful touch I sometimes see lacking in other games.

I don't like this game much because the skulls get stuck in a corner more often than not with nowhere to go, nothing to switch and you literally can't do anything to keep from blowing up. It's pointless and kinda dumb.

I adore this game: •Challenging but not impossible •No life limit •No need to have "friends" to help you pass levels or get more lives My only complaint is that after a certain number of levels, the gameplay changes. Suddenly, you have to find a combination within a certain number of moves, and that's it. I hate this. Please oh please give us more levels of the style of play that got us hooked in the beginning.
